MY FRIEND SADHU SHIVA, is Dheera’s first book of fiction. It was inspired by her growing years in a military cantonment, surrounded by horses and wildlife. Jasbinder Singh, lent luster to her words with his wonderful line drawings. The book was included as a supplementary reader for grade IV students at a school in Powai, Mumbai.
